In addition to the Planning Board reviewing the proposed site plan (next meeting in on Thursday, July 7), the Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on the project in connection with a request for a special permit and various variances on Monday, July 11 at 7:30pm in Meeting Room 1 of the Halifax Town Hall.

Subject: Re: Multi-Family (Not 40B) Project - Plymouth Street
This is an update concerning the proposed multi-family project on the following parcels: Map 63, Lot 6 (fronting Plymouth Street at 314 Plymouth Street) along with Map 63, Lot 31 and Map 73, Lot 5. The applicant has, since March, revised and then withdrawn the proposals for site plans, special permits and variances. The applicant has re-applied to the Planning Board for site plan review with a meeting scheduled for Thursday, June 16 at approximately 7:30pm in the Town Hall (Meeting Room 1, second floor). It is expected that the applicant will re-apply for the necessary special permit and variance in June for hearings in July. A note will be posted when the dates for those hearings are established. The current plans for this project are available for viewing in the Planning Board office.
Please note that this is not a Chapter 40B/subsidized housing project. This mailing list does send out announcements about significant multi-family projects in Halifax along with all proposed Chapter 40B projects. At present, no Chapter 40B projects are being proposed in Halifax.
